bath supports for 6m+

My minion is too big for her tub and tries to get out of it. I need a support for her in the tub. We do a bath every night and she likes to sit and lean on a support so she can kick the duckies with her feet. She doesn't like leaning all the way back. In the big tub she keeps trying to get on her belly bc she is determined to figure out how to crawl. I have looked at this but am not sure. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I wonder if you could use a bumbo or something like that in the bath? A plastic seat?

Obviously any LO needs to be highly monitored while in the bath. We keep a very close eye on DS in the bath.

I've been wondering about this, too. Thanks for posting! I like the look of the safety 1st thing, but I'm not so sure he needs to be able to swivel.

Did you read the reviews? The first couple scared me. One said his daughter flipped over and was held under water by it.

I'm in the market for a new one so no suggestions.

I just use the kitchen sink or co-bathe during this time. Once he is sitting unsupported 100% of the time, we will go to the baby tub or use the big tub. It's such a short time. That's what worked with my other two.

I haven't read them yet but I won't be leaving her side. I can cobathe but not every night. I need a support for the big tub because she keeps trying to climb out of hers.

She is a chunk. ..a few weeks ago was 17 lbs.

So someone I know uses a laundry basket in the tub. They put lo in it so they can't fall and get hurt. I think I'm going to try it

I use a laundry basket now ^^ it works just fine and is great for when I bath LO with DS. @cinderin bumbo chairs float

@cinderin This is the one we have. We love it. It's great for the back too since it's pretty high.

We just ordered one of these suction-cup ring seats (similar to this) from Amazon and it's been working out really well. A lot of different bath seats/rings/holders have a few negative reviews, but it seems to be from people who have texturized tub floors (so the suction cups don't work properly).

With DD we used the inflatable duck tub once she was able to sit. We actually used it until she was around 20 months because she didn't like the big tub and it was nice to only need a small amount of water. It was also super easy to travel with. I'm planning to switch DS to the ducky tub soon because he's so wild in the infant tub!

I've been wondering about these too. LO is about to outgrow his infant tub. He can only sit for short periods of time tho. Think ill do some research.
