Re: Amanda Knox found guilty again
I do however feel that she had been given and is continuing to receive a what we call "due process". I am sure the process is flawed but so is ours. There are issues with interrogations and the handling of evidence which are all issues present in our legal system. No system is perfect but if we expect other countries to respect our system we have to respect theirs. If someone from another country came here and was convicted of murder we would expect them to serve their sentence and the same should be expected there.
However, I don't feel really strongly about this case because every time I see her, and especially after she did all those interviews for her book last year, I just don't have a good feeling about her. While I don't know if she really killed Meredith, she still doesn't "seem" innocent. There's just something not right about her. That said, I don't think she should be sent back to serve time.
BTW, if you are interested in this kind of stuff, I highly recommend the book "The Monster of Florence" by Douglas Preston. It's non-fiction about a serial killer in Florence, Italy...and a lot of the "characters" in the Knox case also are key players in this case. It's an awesome read.
