Anyone had experience dealing with Laparoscopy and D&C??

I was wondering if anyone on the board has had to go through a Laparoscopy because the doc thought it was eptopic only to realize it wasn't and then still have to do the D&C? I had to have this done as an emergency surgery (well technically it was 2 surgeries) on Wednesday evening and still dealing with a significant amount of pain :(  I talked to the on call OB today and will have another appt with my doc tomorrow but wanted to see if this was normal for others who either had both or even just one and had complications. It would be a lot easier to start dealing with the loss if I wasn't in such severe pain!!

    I had both at once last May, but I did have an ectopic (ruptured tube) so I'm not sure if that makes a big difference. I had also been having bleeding which was why they did a D&C as well. I didn't have any complications. I was told to expect pain. The 1st 24 hours afterwards were pretty painful and then while I was still sore, it was tolerable. I was taking Percocet pretty much around the clock for two days and on occasion a few more days. I found a heating pad and sitting in a recliner really helped.

    I was told to take 3 weeks off work. I stayed home a week and felt much better so I got my Dr to agree I could go back as long as I took the following two weeks easy (I have a rather physically demanding job).

    January 2014: RE #2, blood work repeated, homozygous MTHFR c677t, SHG clear
    BFP #4 4/7/14 EDD 12/15/14 Our rainbow was born 12/6/14 at 4:26pm! <3

    I had a miscarriage this past August, and last night laparoscopy and a D&C this was my second pregnancy and second loss

    I don't know what happened to the rest of my post. I was saying I just had laparoscopy and a D&C done last night and was trying to find out what to expect for recovery.

    Personally, I am pretty drugged up but it is still painful to move. More than anything it hurts emotionally. I can't stop crying today and I am sure the pain and not being able to move is not helping this.

    I am hoping others who have went through this can share their recovery time and experience.

    I am sorry that I am not much help since it just happened. I am so very sorry for your loss. No one should have to go through this.
