Beta #2 (BFP warning) questions

Hi everyone.  

My beta #2 went up from 209 to 302.  

My Progesterone went from 62 to 92.  

They want me to come in again on Monday to see if the HCG catches up. They said they weren't alarmed but are just watching the numbers.  Ideally it should have doubled.  This DOES alarm me though.  Trying to keep my BP down.  Any words of wisdom?

Married August 2012 -- Me (40 yrs old) My husband (45 yrs. old) 

RE referral from ObGYN in late Jan. 2013 -- Testing Confirms Unexplained IF 

IUI #"s1 - 3 (Femara + IUI) April - June 2013 - all BFN

  Decided to do IVF... Began stimming on September 10th!  Egg Retrieval 9/20/13.  19 eggs: 6 to mature to freeze after 6 fertilized with ICSI

 3 morula stage embryos transferred on 9/25/13.....Beta #1 on 10/4/13/ = 7.5  Beta #2 on 10/6/13 =  negative

  IVF#2 - Lupron plan  (set to begin on 10/28/13)  (Planning on thawing and fertilizing our 6 eggs with ICSI as well as all of the mature eggs they retrieve with this fresh cycle.)

 Late October 2013 - ectopic pregnancy - methotrexate injection....benched 3 months

CD1 - 12/5/13...Lupron set to start on 12/26/13; CD1 - 1/2/14....Baseline 1/3/14....begin follistim tonight and continue with lupron.  (Got my calendar today!  IVF#2 is a go!)

ER = 1/14/14  (11 eggs....9 were mature. 9 fertilized.  Of the 6 mature eggs we thawed, only 4 fertilized.  At this time, we have 13 eggs fertilized and growing.  Waiting for news about a 3-day or 5-day transfer.)

ET = 1/19/14  (5dt).....3 blastocysts transferred!   (All nine embryos didn't make it to freeze.  =(  )

Beta #1 = 1/28/14   (2 weeks after ER)  BFP! 209 (9dp5dt)   EDD 10/7/14

Beta #2 - 1/30/14  (11 dp5dt) 302

Beta #3 - 2/3/14  (15 dp5dt)  1222 

Ultrasound set for 2/17/14......TWINS!        Twin A - HR 124 bpm; Twin B - HR 126 bpm

Final Ultrasound with RE 3/10/14 - Twin A - HR 176 bpm; Twin B - HR 177 bpm.

 PAIF/SAIF Welcome!

    I have no advice being I have never been in your shoes but I do wish you the best of luck... I would maybe suggest a bubble bath for relaxation?  FX for you.

    Surprise BFP on 6.10.14 ... Miscarried 7.7.14 


    Walked away from Fertility Treatments and began to look into our Foster/Adopt License in April 2014.

    I hope it's nothing to worry over and the third beta looks great!! I always try some calming herbal tea and reality tv drama to keep my mind of the 2ww worries. Hope you find something that helps.

    Me: 29 DH: 31 Married: August 2009 TTC: January 2012 Clomid prescribed by OBGYN May & June 2013 both BFN RE first appointment October 2013 Tests: FSH: 8.0 Prolactin: 14.27 TSH: .949 SA: All normal HSG: both tubes clear Dx: unspecified infertility; possible endometriosis (no lap yet) IUI #1 (12/9/13): femera with HCG trigger; CD 13 US 2 follies RO 16mm & 22mm, 2 small follies LO Result- BFN (12/22/13) IUI #2 (1/7/14): femera with HCG trigger; CD12 US 2 follies RO 18mm & 10mm, no follies LO Result- BFN (1/21/14). Still no AF. Trying to keep the faith. All welcome!

    I second the vote for bubble bath.  And maybe a glass of sparkling grape juice :)  FX for you and a sticky bean!

    Bubble bath and some fake champagne! Live it up girl. Sooo jealous! ;;) I also like the stickie twins idea :)

    I don't know if I said this already but congratulations!  Like PP said, try and focus on the fact that you are pregnant today, and then either keep yourself so busy you hardly have time to dwell on it or distract yourself with a mega-marathon of Ally McBeal or any other very long-running, funny show.
    I know that's easier said than done, but whatever is going to happen will, no matter whether you worry or not- and it's better for your sticky baby (babies?!) not to worry!

    DH:34, no issues
    9/13: DOR DX
     Clomid w/IUI cycle #1& 2=BFN
    Gonal-f w/ IUI cycle #3: 150 IU/day, IUI 12/16=BFP! Beta#1=175 on 12/30, beta#2=950 on 1/3, beta #3=9035 on 1/9; first U/S 1/17 showed one beautiful heartbeat @ 114,  second U/S on 1/24 hr=156 and everything perfect!
    EDD:9/6/14
