Trying to Get Pregnant

Pineapple Core? Green Tea?

Hey!

Can anyone elaborate on their experience with the Pineapple Core? Ways you have gotten it down and how it made you feel? I'm interested in this. Also many people have talked about Green Tea as a supplement. What affects is this supposed to have?

Thanks Ladies!

Re: Pineapple Core? Green Tea?

  • I haven't tried pineapple core...maybe next time if this cycle doesn't work out, but I do drink green tea. Green tea is supposed to increase CM, and to be honest I haven't noticed a huge difference, but it also has quite a bit less caffeine than coffee and I like it, so I'm keeping it up. Can't hurt! I know it works really well for some people.

  • I make a smoothie almost everyday for breakfast, I add pieces of pineapple core for 5 days after I ovulate. No BFP yet but I will probably still continue with it.

  • Green tea is supposed to increase CM. I have been drinking it pre-O daily for the past 2 months and haven't really noticed much of a difference.

As for the pineapple core... I tried it last month and was so disgusting. The pineapple I bought last month was not nearly ripe enough so the core was so gross. This month, the pineapple was nice and golden. When I cut up the pineapple, I left quite a bit of the "good part" of the pineapple on the core so it left some juicy flavor on the core. Then I cut the core into 5ths, and cut each 5th into little pieces. I find it easier to chew and eat if its in smaller baby pieces vs biting into the huge chunk. Makes it much easier to go down.

  • Thanks everyone!

I like hearing about people's personal experience with some of these things. I'm thinking I'll go out and pick up some Pom juice today and start with that. Hopefully that will help me give a good cushy home for a fertile egg. I already like tea but don't get into Green Tea too much, but I might go pick up some organic jasmine to have. I'll also try out the pineapple trick. My Exchange Student loves pineapple, so he will munch down the fruit while I blend up the core!

Love this forum. I'm feeling more sane by the minute!
