Can my uncle have some today? 
Last week they found a tumor on his brain, and he's currently at the hospital awaiting his surgery to get it removed. They don't know if it's cancerous until it's removed, I guess. But he has a LOT of health issues (like a lot. He's in his 60's and has gone downhill considerably in te past two years - he can barely walk, he had to quit his job, etc) so he's in rather poor health going into this surgery (and now we're questioning whether some of his health issues are related to the tumor, but we don't know?). Anyway. His surgery is this morning, I'd love some extra thoughts going his way!

I actually just found out from my mom that they are getting it out through his nose! (laparoscopic) so it's not nearly as invasive as I had pictured in my head... so that's good!
he's still in surgery. They ran into an issue (he had a deviated septum?) so the actual taking out the tumor part just started maybe 30 min ago.
Hope the surgery goes well and he recovers quickly!

"operation was more complex because some spinal fluid was spitting out at them, so they wanted to further research to see behind the tumor. There was a spur in there they had to work around, too. But they got the tumor out, and believe it's benign"
he has to have a few follow ups, but everything went really well. Yay!
