@kwrecks glad I'm not the only one who waited til her early 20s. Unfortunately, the guy, my most serious ex/the guys who came before DH, was a gross pretentious loser and I didn't figure that out til years too late. He insisted on doing this weird Japanese tea ceremony thing beforehand, especially weird bc neither of us are remotely Japanese. Ugh.

I'm really jealous of everyone who DTD for the first time with your H's. I'm also surprised there was only one who was the youngest being 15, but it also doesn't seem like a lot of people are posting or maybe I'm just skewed because I was so young. I thought more woman would have been around 15-16.

I, unfortunately, had HUGE self esteem issues and DTD when I was just about to turn 14. I was stupid. I was super fortunate to have a sister who was 9 years older and would talk to me about things and got me on BC as soon as possible so I didn't end up a teen mom. I'm totally an advocate about waiting and will definitely be open with my children about sex. It definitely messed me up being that young.

I was raped when I was 13, but I don't count that. I actually genuinely pretend like it didn't happen. Healthy, eh? My "first time" I was 16, almost 17 and with a serious HS boyfriend. It wasn't until I was divorced and 24 and sleeping around a lot that I came to terms with it. I have made a lot of mistakes of a messy past, but I am so happy with where I am now that I'll take the bad with the good and look forward!

I was 15.... that seems so young to me looking back on it. I was a freshman, he was a senior ....we were on and off. One random night it happened in my parents basement. It sucked so bad... it hurt and he was such an asshole about it. I try not to even count it. Didn't do it again until I was 21 with a long term bf....much better experience!
