Yellow crustiness behind LOs ears

It's gross looking... Does anyone have experience with how to treat this? I've payed close attention to it during bathtime for a few weeks now but it still persists. I'm wondering if the cradle cap treatment will work. Any suggestions?

Our LO will get it occasionally. It does remind me of cradle cap. I just wash the area really good during every bath and it seems to go away on its own. He'll also dry out like crazy back there, so I do use lotion. Not sure if that necessarily helps or not with the cradle cap thing, but it's worth a shot

We ended up having to use head and shoulders for the rest of it. DO NOT BUY THIS TREATMENT....it smells so bad!!!!! The smell stayed in for a week!!

Thanks!! We don't have coconut oil, but have used olive oil and it works well too. I think I'll try that and maybe some lotion tonight.

Not sure if you are BF but I've been putting some breastmilk on LO cradle cap and behind the ears about an hour before our bath time. Its worked well for us.

We had this also - I rubbed it with a warm cloth and then put some lotion on it after the bath.

A warm cloth and some head & shoulders should do the trick.

I pick at it while he's eating. Gross. But I can't help it. I clean his ears w my finger too while he's eating. Poor kid. I should stop picking at him.
