  Its their national tour, but, I saw the production years ago in NYC and it has a LOT of colors and visuals that she would probably like. She adores music too which is why I was considering taking her. I noticed there were a LOT of children in the audience, but did not pay much attention to their ages.   I wouldn't yet.  

  But what I would absolutely do (and am doing) is take her to high school productions, local community theaters, etc.   Anything to get her used to being part of an audience and learning what okay/not okay.   Only stay as long as she's able.   The ticket price is low enough you can afford to exit when your child wants to "sing" along/etc.    

  For your own benefit and the benefit of the patrons around you who also spent big bucks on that Broadway tour show, I wouldn't take a kid under 4, and once again only if they understand what being a good audience member means.
