Dumb question about shopping with baby

This seems silly but I'm not sure how to do it...

I want to go to target after I pick baby up from daycare and get two giant boxes of diapers (baby sale!). How would you do this logistically? I usually just put him him in his stroller and put the stuff underneath, or I put him in the cart in his car seat (in the main part, not on top) but neither of those allows room for big items.

I can't push him with one hand and carry two giant boxes with the other... any ideas?

    Can't you put the boxes of diapers under the cart? Like on the flatbed under the main section? Or place one in the toddler seat that folds out and carry the second while pushing the cart one handed?

    Do you mean in his carseat, or sitting in the top part? Unfortunately he's not really a strong enough sitter to sit in the top part on his own.

    The big boxes are *just* too big for the flatbed part, but maybe I could shove it in there is I really tried. It's not like I'm going to break the diapers I suppose.

    I did this yesterday.  I put mister in his car seat in the main part of the shopping cart and the 2 boxes fit underneath.

    Thank you for all the suggestions! I actually went there last night and pampers weren't on sale even though they are online- so I guess I'll be going that route.

    I have double fisted boxes of diapers while pushing LO in her stroller, but I had the small universal graco snap n go at the time.  It's very light weight and east to push one handed.  Do you baby carry?  I take LO grocery shopping with me every week in her bjorn. We love the bjorn so much I'm almost about to pull the trigger on an ergo I think.....

    I sit E in the seat and put her blanket on one side and my purse on the other to help keep her from falling over.

    Just for future, target does have some carts with the baby seats attached to them already. They aren't where the other normal carts are, little area off to the side usually has 3-4 of them. I wipe it down before putting LO in it but its nice to shop there and have a cart for everything. But as other poster said, LO could just sit in the normal front part of the cart now. We didn't think so but tried it other day and she sat fine in it.
