Crazy future SIL

Will start with a little famy run down. I am one of 8. My youngest brother and sister are getting married 2 months apart. Sisters wedding is feb 28th and brother is May 17.

Future SIL asked my sister to not get pregnant before her weddingin may. What the what!!!! I was like who does she think she is asking something like that. They are both in their early 30's and want to start trying right away. Even if my sister got pregnant on her honeymoon she would only be 2 months along. I know my SIL is very vein and wants everyone to look perfect for their wedding.

She knows I have been trying for a long time to have another baby. She is lucky she didn't dare ask me to stop trying before her wedding.

Now this is another thing she did:
I sent my brother a text asking if I should eat a protein bar at the end of the day because I was under my 1700 calories and I didn't eat enough protein for the day. So I get a 3 page text back from future SIL telling me 1700 calories is way too much for me to eat. Really!!!! She told me I should eat 600-900 a day.

I am not a waif thin supermodel. I'm a 194lb big girl. I think cutting my calories to 1700 is awesome for me. She basically was arguing with me about healthy eating. What she wanted me to do would make anyone sick if they tried to do it for a long period of time.

I know she wants me thinner for her wedding and that's why she was trying to get me to agree with her.
I hope I get a BFP before her wedding and I will show up in a frumpy maternity dress just to piss them off. Just kidding. It just rubbed me the wrong way.

Ugh, what a pain in the ass! She has no right. Is it vanity, or jealousy? That is the most ridiculous request.

As you may (or may not) know, I am getting married in seven weeks. One of my bridesmaids and I happen to be cycling together with TTC. We see the same RE, have had all of our procedures and tests a day apart, etc. - totally by chance. So, we are both TTC, and my SiL is also TTC (she is also a bridesmaid). I could care less if they were preggo for the wedding. But, I guess it's a difference of value.

@on42 3 of my bridesmaids were pregnant at my wedding. I am so not a vein person. I even let them all pick out their own dresses. I just picked a color. I has girls from a size 4 to 20 and there was no way I was going to make them all wear the same style dress.

@hooligans4 That's exactly what I did as well: I picked a color (champagne), and they girls chose their own dresses. (And yes, I will post pics!) <:-P

Ok not gonna lie I would of told her where to stick it! Lol...600-900 calories is a starvation diet and your body will think that's what you are doing and will eat muscle up not a ounce of fat! That's why you see supermodels with cellulite and flabby asses....hahaha...sorry she is a idiot.. :P

Yeah, the wedding/pregnancy stuff is super weird. The calorie stuff is also super weird, with a twist of dangerous and just plain...stupid, really. Does SHE follow that diet?

Do you generally get along with her, when she's not in bridezilla mode?

She is generally a nice person but very self centered. I get along ok with her but we will never be super close. Everything is always about her and I'm just not like that.

Sorry about your SIL... hope she is normal sometimes. I hope your brother can be happy with someone long term whose biggest concern for her wedding is how her bridesmaids look in their dresses for her photos.... sheesh! GL, and I think it is a totally legit rant! (Smiles n hugs)
