I'm a FTM and I know this is going to sound INSANE, but my baby girl, now 16 weeks has been sleeping 12 hours straight a night since 9 weeks. Is this normal? I feel like she should still be waking in the night for feeds? We used to keep her in our room in a bassinet, but at 9 weeks she got too long for it, and was constantly kicking herself awake. So i started putting her in her crib. She falls asleep without her pacifier, and doesn't cry, but sometimes it takes her a good 20 mins to fall asleep (i have a video monitor so I watch what she does). She usually goes down around 6:30 pm and wakes up around 6-6:45 am every morning. Could other, more experienced moms tell me if this was normal for them? i'm a Type 1 diabetic, and before I got diagnosed i was sleepy ALL the time, so I think I'm also paranoid that she might inherit diabetes from me... either way, some words of wisdom or similar stories would be helpful! She eats four 6 oz bottles a day and one 4 oz bottle before bed, so she's roughly getting about 26-28 oz a day, and seems alert and happy!

I'll hold you in my heart until I hold you in heaven.
I despise you
Like others said, enjoy your sleep!! Just don't be surprised if your next kid gives you hell haha.
I would ask your pedi about the diabetes situation though just to ease your thoughts. I developed GD with this pregnancy and I was always so paranoid that I'd pass it on to my little guy, so I get the paranoia...couldn't hurt to ask!
