  I put we will make plans and exchange gifts but we also incorporate our anniversary into valentines day since they're 4 days apart.

  We have never been huge into valentines day. Last year he did take me to the ballet but it was because I was pregnant and he was kissing my ass all the time then haha
  
  I think we might start a new tradition of pizza and wine and staying in with baby. He's my love too so I want to be with him.

  SO will be out of town so me and LO are going out to dinner with my mom

  We decided a few years ago we would do Valentine's Day cards but that's it!  No gifts.  Vday is totally overrated IMO

  I plan on doing nothing for DH. We don't really do anything on V-Day. But I got the kids some cutesy Valentine's Day stuff and I'm going to try to do a kissing booth photo shoot this weekend with both kids. Ha! I have zero expectations, though. I made a lemonade stand for M's first birthday and I'm just going to repaint the top since it's pink already. I have a feeling it may turn out to be a "nailed it" situation.

  We usually do a nice dinner out and cards but this year, I'll probably do well to acknowledge that it's V Day. We may have my stepson that wknd plus possibly traveling to see my SIL and new baby who are scheduled for a c section on the 12th. Even if we wanted to do anything it kind of seems like we can't so, meh.

  My DH and I have never really done much since we dated for holidays. Since we've been married we generally do simple things like cards and a little something. My DH usually buys me a card and a stuffed animal or candy. Last year he bought me valentines socks (i'm a theme sock person) and a few little candles. We are simple! I'd rather him bring me something on a "non-holiday" day than on a "you should get me something because the date says to".

  It varies every year.  If there is something that I want, I will act like Valentine's day is sooo important so that he gets it for me.  If not, we barely do cards.  One thing we don't do is go out to a restaurant.  We do not go out to any nice restaurants for Valentine's day and the weekends before and after.  I refuse to sit in an overly crowded restaurant and eat from a pre fix/ limited menu with overwhelmed staff.  

  But I am down for cooking up some nice dry aged steaks with wine at home.  or picking up some chipotle.
