Im literally on the phone with my best friend since we were 14. (while shes at the hospital) and she said shes pregnant.

the dr literally came into the room, and told her the test was positive. after three pee sticks. WELL DUH.

idk she tried for awhile but with a previous boyfriend. like 2 years ago. and it never happened so she gave up. now with this new bf. (who i dont like very much). BAM. knocked up. im just frusterated.

Im glad i was the first person she called.. but that sure put a damper on my mood. UGH i need to get over this feeling. i wish they made happy hormone pills for tttc.

Totally agree with @RammerJammer! You can be happy for her but sad for yourself. Have a nice big glass of wine (or beer if you prefer) and take care of yourself.

good timing for the wine. ( i just bought a bottle of local frost wine ) my fav. only made this time of year. .

im surprised i haven't cried yet. (ive been getting alot better) it just sucks you know.

esp bc im still on provera, and i know how my body works.

ill never get that spontaneous missed period. or accidental pregnancy excitement.

thats the 2nd half to this IF word. WE try and try and try, so were not surprised, theres no element of mystery.

for now. at the moment. im just jealous.

also my husband wont be home until 9:30 tonight. . blah.

EDIT: im also about to go to target, and buy stuff for myself. its a 20 min drive, but sooo worth it.

It's definitely upsetting, but very understandable. Like PP said, you can be happy for her, sad for you - the feelings don't always have to be black or white. It's nice she thought of you first, at least.

My best friend recently told me she was pregnant and I had to let out a good cry. She accidentally told me over the phone before she flew in to visit a week later, and was bummed out b/c she apparently wanted to tell me in person to be able to see my (what she thought would be overjoyed) reaction. I was like, "Girl, I love you, but you didn't want to see my reaction"
