I was just curious if anyone else had lost weight? I've lost about 5 pounds now (actually since I weighed in Monday).
I have had spouts of nausea but haven't been sick at all. I've increased my calorie intake from before pregnancy and have had no food aversions (besides bananas but for a different reason). Eating a little healthier but I've always been healthy; with caloric increase I am confused. Slowed down on the intense workouts, I'm still active but not doing high intensity workouts as I did prior to pregnancy (get dizzy). Oh and I don't really have the weight to lose, prior to pregnancy 5'8" weighed in at 136. Now at 129 which I haven't been at since problably HS (maybe even MS). But I was just curious if anyone else is experiencing unintentional weight loss?
Thanks for any input.
Re: Anyone else? Weight loss with no m/s?
@Telly21182, I haven't contacted my OB yet. I didn't know if there was a reason to or if it was common to lose a little in the first trimester. I just had my first U/S tuesday and she said everything looked normal. I meaasured 5 days behind based on when last period was but she just said probably ovulated later. Will try and call her around lunchtime just to double check I guess.
Oh ya, and now i'm craving piping hot pizza! Mmmm!
Edit for spelling.
@emmylu30 and , Thanks for sharing. I would definitely not thought of thyroid as an issue but will mention to OB. It's interesting that you mention that because I read an article just yesterday stating that overdoing some of the superfood greens like kale, brussels etc can lead to thyroid problems. Not that I overdue that but was an interesting article that solidifies to me the 'everything in moderation'.
@dinodna3, thanks for letting me know I'm not alone. If I continue to lose like you said red flags will be raised. But I did do some more research on it and read another stories from moms that lost weight in the first trimester without m/s as well.

I was talking to a friend this morning who had lost about 20lbs by the end of her first trimester because she could not eat or keep anything down. She ended up gaining it back and then some and has a healthy happy two year old boy now.
ETA: I know it's not healthy or normal to lose that much weight, she was under her doctor's care about it.
@JD83, LOL that crossed my mind as to why I might be losing some weight.
I have found that convincing myself to at least go walk has kept the spouts of feeling like crap down at least. been taking a good book to the gym and just walk for 30-an hour, find that the time flies by too.
