((Hugs)) @snegde! I know my 1st two days, I did not leave my recliner for much of any reason except to use the bathroom and eat meals at the table. Day 3, I felt much better and could go upstairs for a shower and sleep in my bed. I hope the same happens for you!
Not sure if this is the same as the chest/abdominal pain PC mentioned...my 1st day I woke up at like 4am with chest pain and popped another Percocet, went back to sleep (I had my surgery around 7pm and was allowed to go home same night at 11pm). When my Dr called to check in on me the next morning, my H mentioned it and she said sometimes the carbon dioxide gas used to inflate abdomen for surgery will escape and cause that kind of pain. It went away after a day or two, but it did scare me and was very uncomfortable. Between that and the laparoscopy, I could not lay flat so I slept in a recliner for the 1st 2 days.
Anyway, get your rest and hope you feel better quickly!!!
