Me too! This is my first and I am so paranoid sometime with the kicks or baby movement. I started paying attention ; certain time if day and certain position like lying on my left side I noticed he moves more; and sometime I drink orange juice that gets him going. But if u are worries always call your Ob. Good luck
I see from your counter that you're at 31 weeks. I think that's about the time I started noticing less movement too. Part of it for me was that it just seemed like less than normal because she's a lot slower than she was, now that she's a bit more crowded in there. Once I started counting, I realized she moves plenty; it's just not the same flutters/fast kicking I was feeling before. But even still, she definitely squirms around some days more than others, and it depends on her position too; I'm a lot more likely to notice her stretching out her legs and pushing on my ribs than I am to feel her moving her arms around, even though I can feel both if I'm thinking about it.
I'm 28 weeks and very inconsistent. Last weekend I wasn't getting 10 kicks in 2 hours, but I was getting a few so I don't bother going in. Then the last 3 days baby's been having a party in there and moves all the time, and HARD! Even though the Internet told me to go to the doctor, I talked to some people who have had babies recently and they all said the same thing..... sometimes you don't meet your kick count, and everything is just fine!
I feel the same way too. I think it might also have to do with how they are positioned - I'm not sure but I think the days that I can't feel my baby, he's got his back facing out.. and the days I do feel him a lot he's turned around with his arms and legs facing out.
