GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? I think my engagement ring was probably the best gift ever, besides this baby of course. My DH spent a lot of time looking at them and finding the perfect one for me. It symbolizes so much and is just beautiful.
What fruit or other random object? Banana
Upcoming appointments? Friday for my 20 week appt. Bummed that I won't get to see her but happy that H can come and finally hear the heartbeat!

Food cravings/aversions? It's not really a constant craving but I find myself needing a sweet after meals. I never ate sweets prior to being pregnant but now, I'm all sweets.
GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? This is a tough one. While it's bittersweet, I think it was my grandmother's engagement ring. It was given to me the night before my wedding. It felt as though she was there with us on our wedding day. I had the ring cleaned and the prongs rebuilt to ensure the diamond was secure. It lives in our safe and gets worn only on special occasions.
What fruit or other random object? Papaya
Upcoming appointments? 2/3 for a lumpy breast follow-up and then not until 2/25

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? Besides the obvious wedding ring and jewelry from my husband, I'd have to go with a portable phone charger. I used to travel a lot for work so I used that puppy all the time!!!

Upcoming appointments? Anatomy scan and monthly on Friday 1/31. I am excited because H is coming to both appointments and they are first thing in the morning and we are going out to breakfast ahead of time. I think it will be nice.

Food cravings/aversions? Nah. I have been eating way too many chips lately, but this is normal for me. I was happy to see my weight gain this morning is on track for the normal range still!
GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? I don't think I could pick. I wish when I was younger and given meaningful gifts like crosses that I was aware and mature enough to remember and take care of them properly. I'll just pick my favorite christmas/birthday present this year: I'd have to say the heated mattress pad H and I bought for ourselves. H also got me a little pink "I got it from my mama" onesie. We don't know if it's a girl but he is guessing

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? Other than being pregnant, I would say my display case that my mom got me for my birthday. It has my pap'a Orioles shirt and hat that he gave me and some pictures of us together. He passed away in 1999. The gift was such a wonderful way to remember him.

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? My black purse, which had my engagement ring hidden inside. DH planned the proposal perfectly, I was completely surprised when he proposed!

Best gift is a tie between my engagement ring and the ring my Grandmother gave me for my wedding. It was her aquamarine ring with diamonds (I'm the only grandchild that shares a March birthday with her) that was used for my "something borrowed and blue". Both mean so much to me!

Any questions? Symptoms? Not really! Feeling pretty great except for the nose problems I've been having for months now. Oh, and acne! Somehow my acne has gotten worse . . .

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? The first thing that comes to mind: after my miscarriage my husband bought me a hamsa. It was just a simple clay one to put on the wall, but it really meant a lot to me at the time (it still does!). We've got it hanging in the kid's room.

My session 19 Quiet Room Bear who i've named Montgomery. My dad got me him for christmas 2-3 years ago. He gaurds me while i sleep

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? My husband gave me two white gold baby booty charms for my necklace with both boys initials engraved on the bottom

Upcoming appointments? Had a/s this morning. We remained Team Green and overall things are good. LO has some cysts in the brain but they expect them to go away around 26 weeks. I thus get to have another ultrasound at 28 weeks to verify. Next appointment is February 21 and is the GD one...yippy for glucose test (sarcasm)!

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? I'd have to say being asked to by both of my nieces Sponsor (like a Godparent). I found it such an honor to be asked and the love I have for those girls and the love they give me back is so wonderful!

GTKY: What is the best gift you have ever been given? Completely material - my camera. More semtimental - my grandmother left me a diamond cocktail ring when she passed. It was something I'd probably wear once every few years, in fact, it was kept in my mom's jewelry box, even though I didn't live with my parents anymore. My mom wanted to do something with it for me, so I'd get more use out of it, so she had the diamond taken out of the center and made into a solitaire necklace that I have literally worn every day since Christmas 2008 (except when I was in the hospital delivering my daughter). She also had an aquamarine (my gam's birthstone) set in the ring to replace the diamond so that I could still wear it for special occasions. Isn't it perty?
