Baby Towels

Hi ladies,
I noticed our baby towels are not covering my little man all the way anymore. Until what age do you use the baby towels?

Re: Baby Towels

  • I stopped about 2m ago. LO will see me grab at the big towel and gets all excited. She likes to play with it after being dried.

  • I'm having the same problem!  I have one towel that's a little larger than the others, but the rest definitely seem too small.  I'm still using them, but have been thinking I need to switch to larger towels.  I had read some people just recommending using regular towels from the start, but we got some baby towels as a shower gift so have been using them.  But they seem like a waste if they're only good for 4 or 5 months.
  • Like other posters, we use a giant, warm, soft towel after showers and baths. :)

  • I can't wait until she can wear a cute little robe and hang out after bath time.

  • We use the hooded towels for toddlers. I went ahead and bought 5 or 6. I figure she'll be using those for a few years.

I tried to find some of these but couldn't. I figured they had more longevity than the baby ones.

I got all mine at bru. I should probably buy stock in that damn place. Did you try amazon? They have everything.
  • We use toddler hooded towels!

I am in the same boat as the other ladies as far as using the big fluffy towels with LO. When she can walk from the bath I will get her the cute hoodie towels.

  • The amount of stuff that's already being put away in storage...these will be on the list soon. Why did we ever register for so many receiving and A&A blankets?!
  • Until they aren't big enough?

  • I used a baby towel exactly zero times. Only the best regular sized bath towel for my baby.

  • Our hooded baby towels are enormous.  Now I'm wondering if they're toddler towels.
  • I bought hooded baby towels, they are so thin (the ones I bought at least). I always use just regular big fluffy towels.

  • We just use regular towels. They seem more comfy.

I've seen them at Target. Baby towels are Useless!  I use a baby towel and a regular towel. I need to stock up on the hooded toddler Ones!

  • I've used two from the get go. We received a ton as gifts. So, I'm not in a rush to store them away.  Once they don't do the job anymore I'll change her to big towels.

  • We stopped using baby towels a month or so ago. Big, fluffy soft towels are so much better.

Ya, I'll have to look again. I didn't see them when I looked the first time. Thanks!

  • We have this chicken one and love it: https://www.3sprouts.com/collections/hooded-towels. Still plenty big for our little dude.

My 5 and 6 year old still love snuggling under a A&A blanket, I wouldn't pack them up :)

Yep. Ours made a reappearance when he hit about 2.5 and he started wanting to sleep with one. They are great in the summer.
