Hi all

I have been off BCP since Dec 2012, but My husband and I have been actively TTC since July 2013. Unfortunately, my periods are/were wack. My third one after getting off BCP took 9 months, so I finally went to the OBGYN and was diagnosed with PCOS. It kind of sucks, but I went to an RE and now at least they've got me on a path to getting my body functioning how it should (hopefully). It also influenced some very positive lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy low gi diet with lots of veggies, and exercising more. I think the motivation to make those changes is a gift in itself... some people just have to learn the hard way! I'm not over or underweight really... but I have lost about 7-8 pounds (weigh about 135 now) since my diagnosis! I am hoping that eventually my body will function as it should naturally with these changes, but for now, I'm on my first cycle using Femara (2.5mg). I'm also taking progesterone now in my 2WW, as a precaution since my lining was 'coming along' but a little thinner than they'd want. I actually kind of like them despite the discharge... I sleep like a rock

Anyway, 10 more days until test, and I'm going crazy researching and reading everything... so I thought I'd come here for moral support, distractions, anything to put my mind at ease and keep calm

Anyone else in the two week wait and want to be cycle buddies?!
My husband and I married in May 2012. He has been great through all of this, and I actually think knowing about our cycles has improved our sex life. We just talk a lot more openly about it now which has gotten us talking about what we like/how we like it too (TMI?! hehe), and he understands the importance of BDing when I'm ovulating!! Good thing he's good under pressure... I think we both just really want our BFP

Anyway, looking forward to making some virtual friends that I can share this journey with!!
Re: Another Intro... TTC "Fun" with PCOS :)
On a side note, I noticed your Countdown to Pregnancy ticker in your siggy. FYI, since implantation can't occur any earlier than day 7, any symptoms you experience before that won't have anything to do with pregnancy. Don't let it mess with your mind.
