Sleeping with a wubbanub

LO has always slept with a wubbanub and we haven't really thought twice about it. Well, the last couple of nights he has decided to roll onto his belly to sleep and I'm worried about the wubbanub getting sandwiched between his face and the mattress. I know you shouldn't have stuffed animals in the crib but what about a wubbanub? Safe or not?

Edit: mobile bumping + BF= a lot of errors!

    Now that they're rolling back and forth and older, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

    The wubbanub has saved our sleeping lives I WILL NOT GIVE THAT UP!

    I have 2 in there one at each end of the crib so if he loses it he can grab the other.  Plus a lovey.

    I am bad.

    I am pretty sure the lovey saved my life. It is the only way he will sleep.
