So, for dinner homemade chicken pot pie. I mean, sheer creamy deliciousness, right? Oh, and a mostly kale salad that also had lots of cabbage, brussel sprouts, pumpkin seeds, craisins, and endive in it with a cole slaw-ish dressing.
So, DD has 3 bites of her chicken, then dives face first into the kale salad and devours it. Refuses any more pie. She was just shoveling fistfuls of it into her face... she ate more than DH and I did combined! I don't even have leftovers for DH's lunch tomorrow. And THEN I offered her a chocolate ice cream bar for dessert while I took a tray of kale chips out of the oven, and she refused the ice cream, pointing frantically at the chips! I let her eat half of them, but cut her off just now so I'd get some.... crazy kid.
What's something unexpected that your kid loves to eat??
