Discharge question

Hi ladies. I don't really post and what a way to break the ice with some TMI. I know discharge is normal in pregnancy but for about two weeks now I feel like I'm peeing my pants.

I'm trying to describe this correctly. I don't feel like I'm actually peeing, however if I don't where a p antyliner my underwear are wet. It doesn't smell or anything but it just seems very water like.IIt is not enough to soak through my pants.

Is this normal? I have been telling myself it is this whole time because I didn't want to deal with something being wrong.

Should I call my OB? Or is this totally normal?

Thanks so much for your advice in advance.

Re: Discharge question

  • When in doubt, call your OB. That said, what you're describing sounds very normal but as a non-medical professional I'd suggest calling just to alleviate your nerves if you're remotely worried.

  • I would call my ob, just to make sure it isn't anything.
  • Same thing for me!! I've been wearing a panty liner cause I hate feeling wet
  • With DS my discharge got worse and worse, by the end of my pregnancy I was going thru two panty liners a day because of the amount, so what you are describing sounds normal. Like PPs said though, if you are worried call your OB or ask at you next appointment.

  • Normal for me. Gross, but normal. Discharge changes during pregnancy, so if it's not your normal discharge, that's kinda expected. And I wear a pantyliner now too.

  • Don't want to overdo it, BUT I don't think it should be cause for concern. Discharge tends to increase around the 2nd tri - I believe it's the formation of the mucous plug (???)
Anyways, you can always call your OB for peace of mind. They get lots of questions and wouldn't think twice about it. :)

  • Thanks ladies. I think I will just ask my OB when I go for my next appointment. It was just weird to me because it is like water.

Unlike anything I have seen, but then again I've never been pregnant before.
  • Normal to me but always trust your guy if you don't feel like something is right, call your OB :)
