Posterior Uterus

I had my first OB appointment and the doctor I saw said that I have a posterior uterus. My doctor has never told me this before when I had DS. Unless it tilted after I had him. I asked the doctor and she just said it means that it is tilted toward my spine and that the uterus has to be somewhere and really didn't say much. I will ask about it again at my next appointment where I will get much more info then I did yesterday. Has anyone else had a posterior uterus?

It is common and NBD. I think it is harder to find the heartbeat and see the baby on the ultrasound in the beginning. I had to have the probe fairly late last time.

I have a tilted uterus as well! It's common and it shouldn't cause you any issues.
