Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I am 37 and carrying my third baby. I am due at the end of June and so excited about this precious gift!
Quick question...do any of you have experience with the Eddie Bauer TriTrek Travel System Stroller?
We loved our original EB stroller, but it has taken a beating and this baby (and Mommy) deserve something new!
Thanks, in advance.

HTH!
I want a stroller to go walking with and light hiking on in even roads.
They told me about Baby Jogger and gave me a catalog so I am going to check them out. She said the wheels are what I would want to make sure is good. So I will be looking into this before I make up my mind. Have no idea how much it will cost.
Just thought I would give you another one to look at. Lol just what you need right. The moms I talked to loved this one and said they last and you don't have to replace. So we will see.
So many choices. Lol
FWIW.... FTMs, the biggest thing I would say about wheels is the style of the front wheel. It may be obvious, but I never really noticed it until I used a few different strollers.
Joggers typically have a locked front wheel. Actually, I think this is what defines them as joggers, but I'm not sure about that. Good for going straight (assuming your stroller is aligned.... my jogger pulls right). Sort of a pain when you are making little adjustments constantly because you have to push down and lift the front wheel.
An articulating wheel(s) allow you to turn without lifting the front of the stroller (think grocery cart).
Some strollers have different wheels so you can go back and forth, some have a locking mechanism so you can change back and forth, and others are one way or the other. Not saying one is better than another, but a consideration for your choice, depending on how you will use the stroller.
January PAL siggie challenge; Good advice:
Congrats and welcome! no idea about specific stroller model..
The chariot has stroller wheels, a jogger wheel, the stroller itself closes your kid in (good for weather), a front-end attachment to go to your bike (which can be really useful if that's something you'd use). It also has a ski attachment to pull your kid while you xc ski (but none of us really use this one like we thought we would). Lots of options. Pricey.
The BOB has one front wheel that goes back and forth. It is good off-road, but also collapses more easily. I can pop this into the trunk of my car and use it at the grocery store (even has a car seat adjustment so it can be used for your sleeping LO.... this was VERY useful).
Strollers (these two in particular) are pretty easy to find used, and they take a lot of wear and tear, so not something I'd worry about buying second-hand.
(FYI, not sure why I've taken such an interest in this thread, except that it is taking my mind off of the dr's appt I have tomorrow. So thanks for the distraction.)
