After a completely shitty start to the new year I'm finally having a decent day. My boss actually did my review this morning and, after two years with this company, I finally got a raise. More money is always a good thing but now I won't have to start looking for something else. I really didn't want to have to do that because for the first time in about 20 years I don't live an hour from work. Work/home/daycare are all barely 5 minutes from each other.
Also, someone brought in donuts this morning. Donuts make me happy.
One downer this morning...there was a dead bird on my deck when I went out to start the car. Makes me sad. The poor little thing was just sitting on the deck all frozen. I can't stand the thought of any kind of critter suffering. : (
I finally got a raise!!!!!! \o/
