First World Problem - Massage?

I'm getting a massage next week and I'm a bit nervous about leaking. I've been breastfeeding for four months and it's rare that my breasts leak anymore, but I'd hate for it to happen while I'm on a massage table. I think a nursing bra would get in the way and I'm too embarrassed to ask the male masseur to step out while I put nursing pads below me when I flip over. I know people have real issues out there, but would love suggestions!

    Nursing moms are pretty common. Just tell the massage therapist before the massage and she will work with you on the leaking issues and also the issue of laying on your stomach.  My breasts felt to tender to lay down on them, so she had a pillow for me to use with what were essentially boob holes!  They have all kinds of tricks to help make sure you are comfortable....  Enjoy your massage!!

    I got a massage when DD was about 6 months. I mentioned it to the massage therapist and she laid down a small, warm towel while I was on my tummy. I placed it over my breasts while I was on my back. She had nursed her two girls and had massaged breast feeding moms before. I would think most massage therapists have dealt with lactating mothers. Enjoy your massage!

    Thanks for posting this - I've been wondering the same thing and have been hesitant to go for a massage because of this.

    They just laid a towel down for me. Not sure why you'd need to wear a bra.

    Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions! I know I'd be more comfortable mentioning it to the massage therapist if it wasn't a 20-something male. But you all are right- I'm sure he's dealt with this before. Thanks!
