I just finished the 30 day planking challenge and needless to say it was a challenge for me, but my stomach is noticeable flatter. Yeah! So here's my advice take it or leave it.
1. The challenge jumps were way too much for me at the end. My post-prego core just couldn't do it. So I split it into sections. I just made sure I did enough small planks to cover the goal.
2. Hands are much much easier than elbows. I was able to do 3:30 on my hands. I nearly passed our after 2:30 on my elbows. So towards the end I would do one minute in my elbows and then the rest on my hands.
3. Despite all this I'm still going. The results in my stomach made every minute worth it. I have decided to continue to try to meet the goal, I just could not do it in 30 days. Right now I'm doing a week of 2 minutes on my hands and 1:15 on my forearms. Trying to bump up by 15 second intervals.
So keep up the great work ladies. Don't get discouraged because even if you can't hold it for 5 minutes straight it is working.
