I'm 5w4d, and besides a little tiny bit of nausea last week a couple of mornings, I haven't really had Morning Sickness yet... When is it supposed to kick in?
Last pregnancy I felt sick in the evenings, but never to the point of throwing up. This pregnancy, I had one night over the weekend I felt somewhat sick, but haven't since then. Some women are just lucky and don't feel sick.
You're fine. I never had m/s with my first and I worried myself sick over my lack of symptoms. It wasn't until after he arrived that I could look back and see what an awesome pregnancy I had. I just wish I'd taken it for what it was and enjoyed it. This time around, things are going very similarly - no m/s, etc. - and we just saw a healthy baby and hb today. Everyone is different, try not to worry.
My first pregnancy I was barely sick. A few bouts of queasiness and evening food aversions. This time around, I've had pretty nasty nausea since 5 weeks and it really kicked into full force last week--dry heaves and all. It is awful.
Be grateful you don't have it yet....and hope you wont get it at all!
I am 9w4d and still havent had any morning sickness. In fact I have almost zero signs of being pregnant. It took me a long time to get pregnant so I keep saying that "I want to feel pregnant." DH and my mom think im crazy but oh well. I brought the concern up with my RE and he said that only 50% of women experience pregnancy symptoms so that made me feel a tiny bit better even if I dont believe him 100% lol
Me - 26 - Suspected PCOS
DH - 28 - Slightly low T and low morphology
Jan 2011 - Stop BCP
Jan/Feb 2013 - Normal hormone panel/HSG - tubes clear
April 2013 - DH's bloodwork and SA - low T and 0% morphology - Start DH on Clomid and vitamin regimen
May 2013 - start metformin for PCOS but ended up stopping in July 2013 due to elevated liver function
Sept 2013 - first RE appointment/follow-up SA shows 2% morph!!
Oh you're so lucky. I am jealous! ((As I sit at my desk feeling like complete queasy crap, but trying to rally to finish a petition draft so I have something to show for my day...))
I am one of the lucky ones that hasn't had morning sickness with previous or current pregnancy. Just tired and some mild headaches. Ask your mom if she had morning sickness. Me and my friends experiences mirrored how our moms felt for the most part.
Around 5 weeks some slight nausea kicked in. 6 weeks it kicked into a higher gear---throwing up, dry-heaving, diarrhea. I'm halfway through week 7 now and not a lot of throwing up (though some)---but just an overwhelming feel of nausea all day long. Tried going to the grocery store yesterday---what a mistake that was! The smells are everywhere in there!!!
5 weeks is super early, give it time... then you'll be asking us when it stops. But in all seriousness some people don't get ms, some do mildly, some do violently... it varies depending on how your body tolerates the pregnancy hormones.
And every pregnancy is different because I was mildly nauseous with DS, but now I'm green all day long... (excuses herself to lose her cookies... talk to you later...)
With my son, m/s kicked in at the end of my 8th week.
This time, I have had intermittent m/s beginning in my 6th week. I puked a couple of days ago, was nauseous yesterday, but today I feel fine so far. I know some people get it bad and others don't get it at all though. I know it definitely reassures me more when I feel sick!
Re: No Morning Sickness Yet?
I've had nausea off an on the past few days, but haven't actually thrown up. I'm at almost 7 weeks now.

That's all.
