Intro :)

I've been lurking for at least a month and posted a few times. I decided I should probably introduce myself.

I'm 33 (34 when baby comes) and DH is 46. I'm due July 31st. We've been married almost 5 years. We met when we were both bartenders more than 10 years ago.

I became a SAHM quite suddenly. I finished my dental hygiene degree in May of 2012. That summer I tore a tendon in my wrist and had to have surgery. Two weeks after my surgery, while I'm still in a cast, I get a call from my sister. She wants me to come get her 13 month old daughter because CPS is at her house.

Turns out she and her boyfriend were pretty heavy drug users. I had no idea. Just like that I got a sweet little girl that I can't imagine not being here now. LO has lived with us for about 1.5 years. We also have full custody now. Her parents have supervised visitation but they don't come around very often. She calls us mommy and daddy. We love her as our own.

This is my first pregnancy and we're very excited. I have enjoyed reading this board and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all better.
