spit up at night

So my lo has been spitting up since day one. I'm talking ridiculous amounts. Soaking all clothes type stuff....Not chunky and thick ,usually pure liquidy mess.
At night she spits up so much liquid it wakes her up and keeps her up. Even comes out of her nose and ill hear it..At night the spit up tends to be very watery and can be hours after eating or half hour. She will fall asleep at breast ,I'll keep her upright, burp , put her down asleep and eventually I will hear her awake spitting up /coughing....... then she's awake and wants to eat again .
'Ive gone to block feeding in hopes of maintaining milk flow so she doesn't gulp,fed her up right ,burp lots, lots of different positions ,put wedge under her bassinet etc etc etc.
Midwife and LC aren't concerned because she's gained weight fast. But it doesn't seem right to me.
It totally interrupts her sleeping at night (when she does finally sleep).

The public health nurse we saw (we get free visits by nurses when you have a newborn to make sure all is ok and then have contact with them for any questions -not sure if it's the same in the states) who is also our LC and my midwife both gave me the reflux is misdiagnosed too often/babies are medicated too soon speech - so both keep brushing that off.
I don't know , her poops are normal colour and she has no problems on her back. She doesn't cry while spitting up either.
I'll definitely be asking our Dr when we do our first visit but just thought in the meantime id see if any other LO'S were going through same thing at night.
