Hi all! Newbie here. Currently 12DPO, got my BFP on 11DPO on a Wondfo and FRER.

Confirmed last night with another FRER and a CBE digi. And two more Wondfos this morning. I just like POAS.

DH and I are having trouble figuring out how to tell his parents. We're nowhere near a holiday or birthday, so a gift would seem a bit odd. I want to catch them by COMPLETE surprise. I know we're going to tell my mom and stepdad on Valentine's Day, because we will be at her house and so will both of my brothers - one is coming to visit from Florida. So I am going to give her a Valentine card with the news inside. My dad lives 8 hours away, so he will probably get a phone call/Skype session. His parents live a few blocks away and we see them often. Can anyone help with some ideas on how we can break the news and surprise the crap out of them? Thanks so much! H&H pregnancies to all.

Re: Need help with telling the parents.
That's no fun at all!
On a more serious note, one cute idea I've seen is to have them over for dinner. Serve baby back ribs, baby carrots, and other little cutesy "baby"-themed foods. See if anyone catches the theme.
These posts just make me exhausted. What's wrong with a good old fashioned 'We're expecting!' to tell parents?
