  • Zantac for the reflux, and they didn't change his formula for the reflux. They've since changed it because he's having digestion and constipation issues. He's now dairy free. Good luck with your little one!

  • I ebf and baby girl is on Zantac. Just had it prescribed so I'm not sure if it'll work yet. It worked for my older daughter when she was little though, so I have high hopes.

I EBF and we've gone from Zantac to Prevacid to Nexium. He just started Nexium on Friday and I think we're finally seeing a slight improvement... *knocks on wood*

I EBF & L takes Zantac. The pedi also told me to pump & thicken with cereal *if* the Zantac didn't nip it but so far so good.

The whole mixing formula or breastmilk with cereal to help with reflux thing is seriously outdated and terrible advice. Your pediatrician needs to get with the times! Please don't do that with such a young baby.

I gave A some Zantac tonight and she spit it all out then glared at me like an angry one eyed pirate. Apparently it doesn't taste very good.

    Edited for spelling.

  • Zantac and I EBF (I cut out dairy) but pedi suggested Alimentum or Nutrimigen for supplementing or if I didn't cut the dairy. I'm noticing a huge difference.

  • ebf and zantac. she is so much better! still a little bit fussy here and there but then again she is six weeks old
  • EBF and Zantac. We just upped her dose and I'm noticing a difference but I'm still considering cutting dairy.
  • Zantac. Only .4 ml twice day. And they never had me change formulas. But that might be because I've tried all the formulas already. He's now back on Enfamil Newborn.
