DH and I are new to TTC. We have been married for 4 yrs. He has been baby-crazy since we got married, but I have been resistant b/c of money, athletic goals, career, more time just us, etc. However, something clicked over the holidays and I decided that I wanted to postpone some personal goals and prioritize balancing family with a career- we'll see how that works out!
Like everyone, we have our own challenges with TTC- namely, we are currently living across the country from each other! He is in a post-grad program, and I just went back for a PhD. He will finish up in July and return to me then, thankfully. We see each other every 1-2 mo., sometimes it lines up with my FW, sometimes it doesn't, but we we are not in a rush and just happy to HIO I get to see him in < 2 weeks, woo hoo! If I do get KU before July, he'll miss out on the daily adventures of 1T-2T (Bummer for him, lol)- maybe it's for the best. Going to school while preg (and with a child!) will be tough, but I have a great support system and a somewhat flexible schedule. I've spoken with and received advice from many women who have been successful!
I've seen a doc, I'm taking prenatals, my diet and exercise are on par, I'm using FF, temping, and using an OPK to learn about my cycle, and of course I've been browsing the forums and learning from all of you! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you- best wishes to all!
Thank you all for the wonderful welcome and comments! @cassiek90 and @sngsoprano1 - I feel like we will one day be able to write the ins/outs of TTC/pregnancy/parenthood while going to grad school, ha.
