Re: is anyone else sick of BH? (mini vent)

  • I hear ya. I'm at 39.5 weeks now, and for the past couple of weeks, I've had BH contractions off and on that seem to get stronger and closer together, then space out and stop completely. I'm so sick of it! Of course, it doesn't help that I was 3cm dilated at my 37 and 38 week check ups, and now I'm at 4cm. So I keep thinking, "Surely any minute now..." But nope!

  • I am only 33 weeks but I have been having regular timetable BH since about 29 weeks. Last time they really hurt and I was thinking I was going to need to rush to the hospital due to being early but they spaced out and eventually stopped. I hate them because I always think I am in preterm labor!!

  • You are definitely not alone. I've had BH since 12 weeks with this pregnancy. Now the closer we get to the arrival of DD (14 days'ish), they are getting stronger and more uncomfortable, and will pick up a rythym for about two hours in the middle of the night until they slowly stop. My patience is slowly dwindling away, and needless to say I'm quickly running out of steam. Ready to hold our baby girl!
  • I just started having them today at 30 weeks.  It definitely freaked me out since I'm a FTM and hadn't experienced them before.
  • I've been having them since 28 weeks, they are more then annoying at this point. 6 weeks left to go with them blah.

I'm right there with you! They wake me up at night, keep me up for a few hours, and then nothing. Frustrating!
  • You're definitely not alone. I've had them since 28 weeks or so, but they've really gotten worse the past 5 days and it keeps getting my hopes up. They'll happen for about 5 or 6 hours at a time and sometimes they hurt like hell. Also, so much cramping and lower back pain! I keep thinking things are looking up, but nope. All lies! This baby girl is already 7 lbs. 11 oz. and it does not feel nice.  :|
