Lazy latch

My daughter is 6 weeks old and for the past week has been getting lazy on her latch. She starts out strong but then just sucks near the nipple. I continue to take her off and put her back on. Any suggestions?

    Is she getting sleepy? If so try stripping her down to a diaper. Put a blanket over both if you if it's cold. I don't know why but this works. You could also try laid back nursing position so gravity helps hold her on there.
