Both of my girls were always in the 160's. We are having a boy this time and his heart rate has always been in the 130's-140's. There probably isn't really a correlation, but the OWT has been 3-3 with me.
My OB told me they all start out high but boys is typically lower later on. My baby's was 148 @ 20 wks and he is a BOY!!!! At first the nurse was getting 150s and asked "girl?" And I was like "no...boy" he kept running away from the Doppler so once she was able to get a reading she said "ok now he's a boy" ...I didn't think she was the brightest nurse but whatever I've heard from friends w kids that high=girl, lower=boy...
All 4 of my kids were/are in the 150's. I have 2 girls a boy and another boy on the way. So I guess you could say the chances of using the heartbeat to determine the sex being right are 50-50
My daughter's HR was 142 at our last visit, so you've heard incorrectly.
Why did you respond to this after a week? I don't care; just curious
I didn't catch the dates on the thread until I had already posted, wouldn't have commented if I noticed that. Didn't mean to reanimate the dead! I got here by following a link in a recent thread directing the OP to this one.
