Stomach sleepers

After a terrible awake every hour night, this morning I laid DS on his stomach to see if he would sleep better. He stayed asleep for a good two hours.
Who else has a stomach sleeper? Does it make you nervous laying them that way?

I've been putting Aleko on his stomach for a while. I understand the risks, but no one was sleeping at all.

I've been thinking about this. We have been trying to transition to the crib from the RnP and not having much success. This week when I went to pick E up from daycare, I noticed that he was sleeping on his stomach and had been for over an hour (he is usually just a cat napper) and I guess that is how he has been napping. So I'm wondering if should try this at night in his crib. But I'm nervous.

This. My grandparents were watching DD at first and she always slept on her tummy. I had no clue at first. DH has put her down for a few naps but I think it still freaks me out too much. She can lift her head and roll back to side but I probably won't do that for a little longet

Liliana has been a stomach sleeper from day one and she REFUSES to sleep any other way. put her on her back, she'll wake up and cry until she's on her tummy. let her fall asleep and turn her over after she falls asleep, she'll wake up and cry until you place her back on her tummy (and then falls right back asleep) i have a stubborn child already!!! It did worry me at first, but eventually i realized it was the only way I was even going to get just a bit of sleep myself...

My pedi said that once they can roll back to tummy it's fine to let them sleep on their stomach. DD hates it though so I don't have to worry about it!

I'll put my LO on his back to sleep but he'll roll to his side or tummy at night. He'll sleep the longest on his tummy...9 hours sometimes!!! As long as he's comfy and since he can roll back I'm not worried (and sleeping is fabulous too)

My LO can turn both directions. We put him on his back to sleep, but he will always flip to his tummy. Like PP mentioned I'm not as worried since he can roll and lift his head easily.

I was just talking about this today. DD can roll tummy to back but not the other way. She is able to lift & turn her head. We fought sleep last night from 8-10 & she ended up sleeping with me. Dumb question but I assume all of you are out of swaddling???
