I'm having the same problem! I have one towel that's a little larger than the others, but the rest definitely seem too small. I'm still using them, but have been thinking I need to switch to larger towels. I had read some people just recommending using regular towels from the start, but we got some baby towels as a shower gift so have been using them. But they seem like a waste if they're only good for 4 or 5 months.
I am in the same boat as the other ladies as far as using the big fluffy towels with LO. When she can walk from the bath I will get her the cute hoodie towels.
The amount of stuff that's already being put away in storage...these will be on the list soon. Why did we ever register for so many receiving and A&A blankets?!
I've used two from the get go. We received a ton as gifts. So, I'm not in a rush to store them away. Once they don't do the job anymore I'll change her to big towels.

My 5 and 6 year old still love snuggling under a A&A blanket, I wouldn't pack them up

Yep. Ours made a reappearance when he hit about 2.5 and he started wanting to sleep with one. They are great in the summer.
