RPL test results are in early

I just had a call from the OB's office to move my appointment up to get my results.  The good news is all but one test came back as normal.  Bad news I have low AMH the lady said " abnormal result 64 low ovarian reserve".  She didn't know anything else other then she was to read the note and more my appointment up.  Considering this is the Dr''s surgery day there is no one who can answer questions about the number for me.  So now I get to go in on Feb. 3 and not have to wait for the 20th.  I do know that even when I was charting back in 2008 I was not ovulating most months at least in never showed on my charts.

    Sorry to hear that. I wonder what lab values they are going off of because I thought normal AMH was somewhere around 3, and abnormal was less than 1.0? Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, at least your appt got moved up, the waiting game is the worst part!

    @cerad5 I know 64 doesn't seem to fit in the scales I think she meant .64 I don't think it was a nurse she didn't know anything other then what was on the paper she had and couldn't really answer any questions other then it was to low.

    I can't stand it when offices have people who aren't qualified to answer your questions call you. I'd rather just wait you know? Maybe that's just me. It just sucks for them to call you and say "Hey, here's some bad news that I can't explain at all to you. Have fun contemplating this and worrying about it until your appt!"

    I know it sucks that she knew nothing the only good thing is my follow up is Monday and not the end of the month so at least I can see what my next step is sooner.  They weren't supposed to call with any results so I was surprised to hear from the office at all.

    That's great you got pushed up a few weeks. Fx for a good appt with some answers to help you move forward!

    Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
    TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
     3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
    2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
    BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
    NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
    RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
    IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
    ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    I wish I knew more to help, but just wanted to say glad they moved up appointment and I hope that there is a good course of action for you! Keep us updated!!!

    I have low AMH, I see you have endo from your sig. The endo can cause DOR. Have you had a lap recently?

    @jb2rn No I have not had a lap since 2000.  They removed a lot of endo it was everywhere and my appendix had to go as it was stuck to my uterus and my right ovary.  I've been to four OB's since then with moving around an no one has said anything about the needing it again, though they also seem to blow off that I have not been able to have another baby.  

    Does removing the endo increase AMH of does it stay low, that is if you know.

    I have heard it can, but I don't have endo (that I know of, I have DOR but no endo symptoms so no lap). 

    I think it's worth pushing for another lap if you are having trouble getting and staying pregnant, and it's been 14 years since your last one. 

    I know surgery is never fun, but it might be wise.
