Do you really need to stop eating lunch meat. I understand hotdogs and bologna but what about like turkey or ham? We like subs in our family and of course I'm craving one NOW!
I never stopped eating it my last pregnancy, and don't intend to this time either. My doctor last time around said that as long as I was getting my lunch meat from a trusted source, and as long as it's not sitting out for hours and hours or something, it's probably fine. She said to use my judgment as to what I trusted and was comfortable with.
Also, what PP said about toasting it. Toasted subs are DELISH.
I'm not quitting it entirely...there's only so much pb&j that I can handle before I lose my mind, and I need portable lunches. If you can, heat it to steaming. You'd have to pry hot dogs out of my cold dead fingers though. F that.

Oh I begged my hubby to bring home Jimmy Johns for me from his out of town meeting and boy did I devour that. Stupid shows were making me crave a sub. I figured until I see doctor in March and see what he says, I'll eat in moderation.
