I'm mobile too but we've had a lot of discussions on this, so a search should give you some good info. You might also want to check the cloth diaper board.
We're planning on AIOs for the ease factor (and getting DH on board, ease factor was important). If we end up with formula, and once we start solids, we'll also be using disposable liners. However, to start we are buying some used newborn pocket diapers from my brother's ex-wife. She's willing to part with them cheap and it means they'll be in the house now and we can practice on C's baby doll (or DH can practice, I've used them before but want him to get used to them).
I already purchased the newborn stash and have a mix of all kinds and all brands... after using them I'll determine what works best for us (and what to buy more of/ buy in bigger sizes).
I CD'd both DD and DS (at the same time for a little while), and used pre-folds in covers in the newborn stage, then switched to pockets. I read that they not only dry quicker than AIOs, but they also absorb more (and you can double/triple stuff for overnights, if needed). It can be a pain to re-stuff after washing (you have to shake the inserts out before washing), but it is a mindless thing to do while folding laundry and watching t.v.
FWIW, I used Fuzzi Bunz One Size Pockets (Snaps), but if I were to do it over, I may have tried more BumGenius.
