DH is stricken with either food poisoning or the stomach bug (kind of praying it's FP so we don't have to worry about the kids - or me - getting it) so I am on mommy duty all by my lonesome tonight. DD1 already woke up once coughing and then it took me an hour to get out of her room without her waking up and demanding I stay. Staying in the guest room with LO and she is being super noisy and grunty, and will likely be up again within the hour for a feeding. Have not even shut my eyes yet. Praying this night will not be as long as I'm dreading it will be...

Put the white noise app right by YOUR ear. It will drown out the grunting but you can still hear if LO cries.

Thanks all...managed to get a little sleep so far. Up now for a feeding and all seems quiet and well in the rest of the house -- FX it stays that way!

Thinking it was food poisoning now, or maybe we're just lucky -- DH is recovered and the rest of us are all still well. So done with winter and all these nasty germs!
