I'm 37 weeks & have noticed baby girls kicks going down!! (Yes I know she is running out if room)
I was talking to my mother in law about it & she said "when a baby's kicks slow down, that mean there getting ready to come)
I was indueced with my oldest daughter & she kicked up until I had her!!
Has any one heard this saying before??

    Nope! But of course baby is getting ready to come.....you're closer to the end :)

    I've heard it but I don't put much stock in it. Baby is running out of room so the kicks don't feel as powerful anymore. They feel more like nudges. You should still be feeling a fair amount of activity. If not then I would let the doc know. Even at 38 weeks my doctor asks me about kicks and babys pattern.

    I've heard it but the opposite was true for me with both healthy babies. Towards the end they got more active.

    I've also heard that babies get really still and quiet before labor, but I always thought that was an old wives tale. It was not really true for my first anyways so I'd take it with a grain of salt. Every baby has their sleepy days :)
