Question for Daycare Moms and Ferber Moms

Has anyone heard of a law saying that Daycare can't wake a sleeping child?

We are trying to do Ferber with Elijah to get him to sleep better and we asked daycare if they could wake him up after a certain time. They told us that the law says that they cannot. We want him to push more of his sleep into the night, but I don't know how we are going to do it if he is making up sleep at daycare.

    I have never heard of that.  How long is he sleeping at daycare?  Wesley usually will take between a 45 minute nap to an hour and a half right after lunch and that's it though.  Is he sleeping a ton at daycare?

    @stefanieM522 He is sleeping for 3 hours. 12:40 to 3:40.

    @needutonite I am 99% positive that they weren't kidding.

    ETA; At home he naps for 2 hours 12-2.

    Never heard of that. DC texted me today and asked if I wanted them to wake her. She had been sleeping for 4 hours though.
