    Seriously! That song-- I immediately downloaded it. I paid $1.29 for a minute and a half. Worth EVERY penny!!!

    I watched, loved it, and cried. Although the crying was not from the show; DH is being an ass. Best episode this season.

    La Vie En Rose and she is Cristin Milloti-- I was so happy to see her version on there!

    @littleboyermoose -- Thanks! We had a 'discussion' tonight about the possibilities of IUI and he was being dumb. He has some irrational fear that I will be inseminated with the wrong sperm and got really angry about the whole idea. Ugh! Boys! Hopefully, it's just a hypothetical conversation and we don't need to go that route in a few months.

    Ahhh BEST part of Saving Private Ryan. I missed tonight's episode, hoping to watch online tomorrow. Looks like I'll need tissues.

    Edith Piaf is amazing, but I LOVED her version. She reminded me of a cross between Ingrid Michaelson and Regina Spektor.

    Good to know!!! Love both those ladies, might have to google the version now!

    ETA ALSO I just discovered she is in the Broadway version of Once. Fucking love that movie/music.

    Watching the episode made me want to learn that song and sing it to our future children. Loved this episode and agree that it was the best one this season.

    That had to be one of my favorite episodes.... i might never delete it off my DVR!  It's so cool to see how it all connects throughout the years.  I'm going to be so sad when it ends!
    Wife to K 07/31/2009, Mommy to L 08/26/2010 and received his angel wings on 04/12/2011, our precious RAINBOW baby B 12/23/2011 and due with another miracle June 2015!

    I watched it, I didn't cry though which is weird because normally I'm a blubbering mess. It was a really good episode though. I wish they would have done a spin-off series of how she met Ted though, rather than just one episode.

    I haven't seen it yet , but I'm excited after reading all your guys' comments about the show bringing everything together. I've been waiting FOREVER for it to happen. Love the show, but it's been dragging in last couple seasons.

    I have to say I stopped watching earlier this season since I just wasn't feeling this season anymore. Sounds like I need to check out last night's episode now!

    @kap617. I'm kinda in your camp. I just started watching HIMYM a few months ago from the beginning. When I saw this thread last night I went to watch, since it was recorded. Yeah it was good but I was I don't see all the hype. I felt disappointed at the end I was expecting so much more.

    Totally agreed with the need to see how it all ends.  I devoted enough time to watching the whole series since it first came on the air that I know I'll want to see how it all finally wraps up.  Just need to make it through the backlog on my DVR one of these nights.

    The episode was good - best of the season.  But it wasn't a great episode if you rate the episodes through the seasons.  I did really enjoy the other side of some of the scenes especially with the yellow umbrella.

    totally agree with those saying it's the best episode in a weak season ... HOW LONG IS THIS WEDDING WEEKEND COME ON

    But, the biggest strength of this show I think is the ability to tie all these stories together, so I loved looking back at all the near misses that had been mentioned in earlier seasons. Super interesting and really shows you how well planned out this show has been from the very start.

    I would have stopped watching this season though if I wasn't so invested at this point. I have to see how it all comes together!

    I thought last night's was good.  Almost got me blubbering as much as the episode where Lilly delivers bad news to Marshall when she gets out of the cab (don't want to spoil it if anyone hasn't seen it!)

    I'm ready for the show to end and am kind of annoyed at how they are doing this season with the stupid wedding weekend.  I still like it a lot though!

    She turned down the proposal and left with all her stuff. She went to the inn and told the guy at the desk that she only needed one key since she had just broken up with her boyfriend. With a devilish grin he told her "Room 6 will be perfect for you." It was the room next to Ted. She went out on the porch with the guitar that Max (her first bf) gave her and sang La Vie En Rose.
