First appt with U/S today!

Hi ladies. Had my first appointment with my OB today and everything is great! He said I am measuring 7 weeks 5 days today (which I knew based upon my ovulation date - I took temps and had a positive OPK). Saw the little one's heartbeat... it's at 161bpm which he said was normal. So exciting to see a heartbeat!!

Since I have PCOS, OB said to stay on the Metformin and they will do bloodwork a few times throughout the pregnancy to make sure I don't develop diabetes. Also saw that I have a couple of good size cysts on my ovaries. He said this is fairly common, but that they will check them each time they do an ultrasound to make sure they don't get any larger.

Other than that, all good!

Did you have a internal us? Just curious I am 7 weeks and having a ultrasound tomorrow

Yes, internal. I think that is the only way you can see anything at this point anyway. It wasn't bad, just a little uncomfortable and a little pressure. All worth it to see the little heart fluttering away.
