OCD question about monthly photos

you know the ones with the stickers that every one of us are doing lol

anyway, since he was born ont he 1st, i had been just taking the monthly pic on the 1st, which roughly came out to the exact age (4 weeks, 8 weeks etc). however he turned 12 weeks last friday, which is A WEEK AWAY FROM THE FIRST. do i wait until the first, or should have taken it around the time he actually turns that age? does this make sense? what are you doing? i know i am overthinking this, but i am sick and tired, literally both, so nothing is making sense!

I'm doing it on the date not week. So on each 30th I take a month picture.

February is throwing me off though.

That's exactly what happened with us. I have since been taking it on the 9th which is the day he was born.

I do mine on the 26th every month. And before, I was doing them every Saturday.

My LO was born on the first and I take them on the first of each month. With the little sticker thingys. We will be taking them this Saturday!

I'm doing the 10th of each month. But when people ask me how old she is, I always say it in weeks. I have no idea why.

I do it on the 14th every month. That's the day of the month she was born and I think it's just easier for me to remember. And years down the road when I look at the pictures, I won't remember that it wasn't the exact 4w, 8w, 12w etc

I'm taking them on the 23rd of each month. I don't even keep track of weeks anymore.

Come on CV, this is a no brainer! You go by the day of the month. Unless you were doing weekly photos (and OMG one of my FB friends is doing this and has been doing weekly pics with her baby who is now 18 MONTHS OLD) no idea where she's got stickers that go that high in numbers but she's literally still listing 'lo at 62 weeks!'

Anyway yeah. Go by date. I do them on the 28th of each month since lo was born sept 28.

If I had the stickers, and any organization or memory, I would do them on the date (12th) and not the day (I.e. sat.)

You're funny. His 12th week already happened and now you're well into the 13th. Is he spurting or not?

I do it on the day. We don't have stickers though. They didn't come in on time so I didn't have them for month 1 so I scrapped using them all together.

I don't have stickers. I do weekly blog updates (I did one today; link in siggy) and monthly (on the date) but just use a photo editing program and add text in that says what week or month she is.

I have a FB friend who takes them every week. My awesome friend who is also friends with her sent me a text saying "Guess what? I'm 500 weeks old. I'm taking a pic and posting to Facebook!" I love her.

Totes the date. I take them without a sticker. Then I don't do anything at all with them. I have a picture frame of baby's 1st year filled with pics of some random baby.

I didn't know these were stickers. I thought everyone had outfits that said "2 months" and "3 months on them".

Oh hayyyyy CV! I feel like I havent seen you in forever. I'm so out of the bump loop.

I've had a similar problem and decided that I would do it on the actual date (ie 29th of each month) but now my pedi appts are off from all these freaking snow storms so his 2 month appt wasnt until 2.5 months, etc. I like to write his weight and height on a chalkboard in the pic. ugh. So now I will do a month pic and also a random week pic when I get the height/weight at the appts.
