AW: We're going to the Super Bowl!

I'm SO super duper excited! DH got tickets to the Super Bowl! I thought he'd prefer to take one of his buddies but these are such great seats, its truly a once in a lifetime experience, and he said he'd rather share it with me. Ahhh, kinda cute for someone who isn't very sentimental. 

We fly out Saturday and back home Tuesday. LO and I both are fighting nasty colds. LO is on day 8 of Amoxycilian for an ear infection but is still super congested. I've been sick too for the past week thanks to LO sleeping on me last week when he was in so much pain. I really hope we can both kick it before flying out this Saturday! 

It will be a 12 hour day out there between transportation, and pre-parties, so I've been trying to figure out how I can bring my pump and where I'll be able to use it. Looks like nursing mothers can go to the First Aid tent... lovely.

Anyway, doing a little happy dance and had to come on here to share. :)

    Hope you have fun!  I'm not sure where you're from, but it is damn cold here.  My sister lives about 5 minutes from Metlife Stadium and is always complaining about the cold, so definitely be prepared to bundle up!

    @MitsB707 - we've been debating what to wear. I'm thinking my fleece long underwear and ski pants/jacket. Not exactly cute for going out after but it should keep me warm during the game.

    @lucyspeople You may want to add another layer up top, thick socks, hats, gloves, and scarves.  Definitely bring blankets, too, if possible.  You're lucky as we'll be much warmer than usual and in the lower 40s.  At night it will drop back into the 20s though, and this is without any wind chill factored in.  It's been in the negatives with the wind chill here, and in the meadowlands, there's nothing blocking the wind.

    Layers!! Seriously that stadium is freezing in November I can only imagine in February! Wear at least 2 more layers than you think is necessary! It's very windy inside!

    The last game I went to I pumped right before heading to the stadium, pumped in the car before we went in and then pumped after the game in the car.. Ik the Super Bowl is different though with no tailgating (uh dumb)

    When I was growing up, we had season tickets to Buffalo Bills games in winter, and sometimes the best (warmest) clothing is the kind that can block wind the most. There were some times that a rubber rain slicker was warmer than a parka, simply because it blocked out the wind. :)

    @Millie1984 - yes my inlaws live in the city so were staying with them. We won't have a ton of extra time. Just sat evening and Monday.

    @cinderin - we're in Denver so are rooting for the Broncos!

    We just went out today and bought matching hats and super warm jackets. Now I just need to kick this cold!
