So I'm going to exclusively bf this LO, but i want to buy a pump so that I can have DH feed her as well. I'm leaning toward a medela (darn pressure from the bump! Haha). Which medela would be best for this? I obviously don't want to shell out a ton of money for something that isn't going to be used exclusively, but I want something that will do a good job and last a while. Any advice?

Re: Pump question
With my first, I had the Ameda Purely Yours, which I liked because it was a closed system and I didn't have to worry about getting milk in the tubes. I used it mostly on batteries (not plugged in), so it worked, but may not have been as strong as if I had plugged it in. I'm thinking this time I'm going to get the Medela pump that is covered to try it. My sister has it and has really liked it.
There is a section about insurance pumps. Select your insurance plan name, your plan, and it'll list the type of pump your insurance covers and the vendor who you can place your order with. My cousin and her friend both got theirs already. My ins gave me a choice of Tommee Tippee, Ameda, & Medela - the double electric kind.
